Position Overview:


As a Bartender at our boat only access, Jungle Eco Lodge, you will immerse our guests in a unique tropical experience by providing exceptional beverage services in a lush and natural setting. Your role will encompass crafting delightful drinks, managing bar inventory, and ensuring a seamless service experience that aligns with our eco-friendly values.




Beverage Craftsmanship: Skillfully prepare a diverse range of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, fresh juices, and smoothies, reflecting the natural and vibrant essence of the lodge. Craft signature drinks that resonate with the jungle environment, showcasing creativity and attention to detail in both presentation and taste.

Inventory Management: Maintain a well-organized bar area by managing stock levels of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and fruits for smoothies. Regularly conduct inventory checks, update stock records, and place orders to replenish supplies as needed.


Guest Interaction: Foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests, engaging in genuine conversations, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.

Responsibly serve alcoholic beverages, ensuring adherence to legal drinking age and responsible drinking practices.


Order Fulfillment and Delivery: Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, process them promptly, and ensure timely delivery to both the bar and dining areas. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food and drink orders are coordinated effectively.


Bar Area Maintenance: Uphold impeccable cleanliness and organization of the bar, including equipment, glassware, utensils, and work surfaces. Adhere to rigorous hygiene and safety standards while handling food and beverages.


Menu Knowledge: Acquire in-depth knowledge of the lodge's beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation styles. Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, providing insightful information and suggestions.


Flexibility and On-Call Availability:


Be prepared to work flexible shifts within the operational hours, accommodating the varying needs of the lodge and its guests.


  • Proven experience as a bartender, showcasing expertise in mixology and beverage service.

  • Strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and flavor profiles.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect with diverse guests.

  • Organizational aptitude and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills.

  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and capable of maintaining composure during peak hours.

  • Passion for eco-tourism and enthusiasm for embracing the natural surroundings.

  • Must be willing to live on site with others

Competitive salary + food (all 3 meals) + housing

4 days off per month

Work hours are between 5:30 AM to around 9:00 PM, with shifts scheduled around lodge activities and guest demand.

Please note that alcohol consumption is not permitted on the property. If you are someone who likes to consume alcohol often, this is not the position for you.
