Thank you for your interest in our volunteer program!

Our long term volunteers work in exchange for free accommodation and food. We depend on our long term volunteers to be reliable and excited to work in such a beautiful environment. We require a 3 month minimum stay for these volunteers so that they know the ins & outs of how the hostel works and can conduct daily tasks without constant instruction. Long term volunteers will be called upon whenever needed and work 7-8 hours a day.
This volunteer program is an excellent learning experience for those who are truly interested in running a business in such a remote coastal jungle. These volunteers will learn the challenges and rewards that come with living in this unique environment.
Full time volunteers receive free food, housing, and access to snorkels, kayaks and hand line fishing gear. However, we do require volunteers to make a $315 deposit. In the case that the volunteer does not fulfill the three month commitment they will be considered a "3 week" volunteer and their deposit will be forfeited. Once the full time volunteer has completed the 3 month commitment their deposit will be refunded.
*Volunteers must be 21 or older
